EASY WAYS TO STORE HANDBAGS AND RETAIN THEIR SHAPE

You own an impressive collection of handbags and you are tired of seeing your beloved handbags lose their shape. You are falling in love with the arm-candy trend and plan on purchasing a few, you don’t want them to remain at the bottom of your closet collecting dust and losing their initial structure, I mean...you spent quiet a fortune on them right? Storing them could be pretty confusing as we know handbags are usually so bulky and oddly-shaped.
I have for you a few easy ways to store your handbags while retaining their shape;

1.       Stuffing –

This is a trick known by most women who are concerned with maintaining their handbag shapes. Stuff your handbags with plastic bags and stuffing items they came with. Plastic bags will hold up the sides of your handbags and prevent it from sagging. A little cushion pillow if not in use can be a great alternative to unwanted items. Get as many stuffing as you can, line up those bags and start stuffing them!

2.       Shelving –

Handbags are known for their different styles and shapes, that is why shelving is a great general storing option for them. Place them uprightly in shelves in your closet, if there is no space, build a shelf. Those beauties can be shown off by shelving them using a colour arrangement to create an attractive display that will help their shelf-life (pun intended).

3.       Hanging –

This is the usual go-to method a lot of us use to store our handbags, it is very effective but must be done with care. The ‘handles’ of our handbags are delicate, hanging them the wrong way could peel, tear and weaken them. To do this right you need hooks, shower curtain hooks are great for this purpose, they can be used as handbag hooks in your closet.

4.       Lastly, keep them in plain sight. If you don’t see them you won’t remember to store them well. Keep your handbags in close reach.

All the above mentioned methods are used by yours truly. Not a lot of us have very spacious closets, so I will like to know which method you currently use often. How do you store your handbags?
