6 MUST-HAVE SHOES FOR EVERY NIGERIAN WOMAN ( 2 )

Hello, Welcome to dbshoesnbags blog.
This continues our last post of the shoes every Nigerian woman needs in her shoe collection. Here goes;

4.      Flat Sandals-

Still yet to find a Nigerian woman who doesn’t own these, I suggest you get a pair, better yet two if you really don’t own any.

Ladies with an eye for fashion won’t choose these plain, they’ll go for elaborate finishes, studded or bejeweled, thongs or gladiators. They come best in metallic colours and are great when paired with shorts, jeans and maxi dresses. They can be worn for casual dates and outings, beachwear and running errands.

5.     Ankle-strap Sandal heels-

Now that your comfort has been taken care of, you should go for what is stylish and trending. Strappy sandals pull off even the most casual outfits, not to mention the length it gives to your legs. They give off the illusion of longer legs and gives the opportunity to be daring with your nail polish colours.

They can be worn on your casual Friday to the office, they are great on our traditional outfits, and absolutely cute on the dance floor! In the world of fashion these are here to stay.

6.     Sneakers/Trainers-

My fitness savvy friends won’t forgive me if I leave these out. Get a good pair of these for the gym or daily aerobics. They are not only comfortable, they provide a chic look when paired with jeans/leggings and t-shirts/sweaters.

6 MUST-HAVE SHOES FOR EVERY NIGERIAN WOMAN ( 1 )

Hello, Welcome to dbshoesnbags blog.

For all ladies, a versatile collection of shoes that would complement any fashion statement is an absolute must. We Nigerian ladies need certain shoes for our everyday lifestyle. Having the shoes on this list will help us answer the “Which shoes do I wear with this outfit?” question.

1.     Classic pumps-

Not to be confused with high heels, pumps are generally shoes that grip firmly at the toes and heel. Start your shoe collection with these, leather or suede material, rounded or pointed toe. You’ll definitely love the comfort and polish it gives to your outfit.

They are great in basic black or other neutrals like beige, white and grey. Wear it with pant or skirt suits for work, pair it up with jeans for the casual look, looks great with your dinner dresses and party outfits. Go for comfort and class when buying these.

2.     Basic ballet flats-

Very lady-like and chic, a fashionista’s favourite after a long day in high heels. Equally versatile, like the pumps, and are found in leather, suede, satin and even snake and croc skin materials. Pick them in round or pointed toes for a classy finish.

It is an easy solution to putting together an outfit for work, dates, running errands while looking stylish. Did I mention great for driving in traffic? These are a definite a must for your wardrobe.  They can be worn with almost any outfit including your favourite jeans, leggings, dresses and shorts.

3.     Wedges-

These are common for women who want the classy look of high heels while maintaining the comfort of flats.
Wedges are great for their casual-still-stylish looks and come in wedge sandals and wedge pumps.

Depending on the occasion and outfit, these can be a lifesaver and could help make that quick decision when you are stuck between choosing your high heels or flats. Therefore they are a must-have for us Nigerian ladies.
